This was her first time at Maleny Music Festival but she has won the hearts of many in the community so I am sure we will be seeing her again at other local venues in the future.
She had a great sound, full of energy and joy! She has some amazing skills with her flashy, Spanish guitar style, soaring vocal melodies and hypnotic rhythms. WOW! I think everyone in the crowd felt it.

This was his first time at Maleny Music Festival. Mitch reminded us all why Southern blues and Australian roots and folk music is perfect for our festival.

Blues is genre that will always be included in the Maleny Music Festival, we had Vix and the Slick Chicks rockin’ the dance floor in 2023 and the amazing multi-instrumentalist Mitch King in 2024.
Micth combines electric and acoustic guitars and harmonica and kick and snare drums plus tambourine -wow!
I wonder who will be singin’ the blues in 2025?

Did you know that Belly Savalas started as a vocal jam between Anna and Reuben and soon became the group as we know them now: A 7-piece troupe of Melbourne`s silliest and finest.
@bellysavalas were one of very few interstate acts at our festival. I wonder who will apply from interstate in 2025?

Did anyone catch Gareth from August River Band playing with Kate B last year? What a match made in heaven. If you like Gareth Mewes`s barefooted fiddle playing, you may also like to see him in Zumpa, our well-loved Italian band with David De Santi, Mewes News a gypsy/folk quartet, in Lizzie Flynn and the runaway trains or Thainoz a world music trio.
Wow so many different genres to be able to showcase an amazing talent.

WAM: Waste Action Maleny are having a fundraiser. Are you free to come along?
This Sat 29 March 1 - 5pm in Witta.
It is an intimate house concert designed just for you: A fund raising and awareness event for Waste Action Maleny "WAM". Come and enjoy an afternoon of music, spoken word and surprise acts. There will be covered seating on the verandah and a grassed area for picnic rugs and camp chairs. Sounds lovely.
Even if you can’t make it to this event, you can reach out and DONATE $$ to this organisation to continue to reduce waste in the local community or get involved to be part of the solution and take Action against excess Waste in Maleny!
